Russia continues to deliberately target civilian energy and heating infrastructure. Electricity and heating fail repeatedly — often for hours, sometimes longer. Hundreds of thousands of households are affected.

What this means becomes visible in everyday life. Apartments remain cold. Electricity is available only for limited hours. Hot water is often unavailable. Social institutions and medical facilities are operating under unstable energy conditions, with some procedures relying on emergency power.

For many people, this is no longer an exception — it is their daily reality.

Through our Power for Survival campaign, we provide targeted support to families with children and elderly people living on very small pensions who are forced to live under these conditions.

We are in direct contact with many of them. We know their situation and understand exactly what is needed.

Currently, we are financing power stations, mobile charging stations, electric blankets, flashlights, power banks, and camping gas stoves.

These supplies provide light, warmth, and the ability to prepare a warm meal — even when electricity and heating fail.

Our assistance is direct, needs-based, and transparent. We procure exactly what is genuinely required on the ground.

Project Update

Status: Early March 2026

Thanks to the support of many people, we were able to purchase important supplies for this project.

These include power stations, electric blankets and heated mattress pads, camping gas stoves, and headlamps — equipment that helps families have light, warmth, and the ability to cook even when electricity is unavailable.

The supplies have already been transported to Ukraine and are now reaching people living with unstable electricity and heating.
