In the weeks before Christmas, many of us think about gifts. About how to bring joy to the people we love. About warmth, care, and meaning.

This project is about another choice. The chance to make a truly meaningful gift — a gift that saves a life.

As part of our Christmas campaign, yoUAre LifeSaver e.V. is raising funds for life-saving tourniquets — simple but critically important medical tools. These tourniquets are used every day by medics and rescuers to stop severe bleeding and give people a chance to survive.

During the war, many people do not die from their injuries themselves, but from rapid blood loss. In such moments, the first minutes are decisive — often only 1–3 minutes to stop the bleeding.

A high-quality tourniquet can be applied in about 30 seconds — even by the injured person themselves, using just one hand. Those seconds can mean the difference between life and death.

One tourniquet costs €15. But its true value cannot be measured in money.

One tourniquet = one life saved.

And every saved life is more than a single person. It is a story that continues. A future that is not cut short. People who care. A whole world that goes on.

This Christmas project exists to make sure that medics and rescuers have what they need to save lives — and that human stories are not interrupted too soon.
