Energy for Life
Since October 2022, Russia has carried out over 1,024 attacks on energy facilities across Ukraine, destroying nearly 90% of thermal generation and 45% of hydrogen production. Despite international humanitarian law, the Geneva Conventions, and their additional protocols prohibiting attacks on power plants and electrical grids, Russia continues to deliberately target these civilian facilities, committing war crimes almost daily. Many power plants have been completely destroyed, and Europe’s largest nuclear plant, Zaporizhzhia, has been occupied and used as a tool of nuclear blackmail.

The lack of electricity severely disrupts daily life, making survival under war conditions even more difficult. Constant emergency shutdowns force people to endure situations where access to electricity, water, heating, and communication is drastically limited — sometimes available for only a few hours a day.
Power outages also threaten the functioning of schools, kindergartens, orphanages, elderly care homes, and other essential services, especially hospitals, where every hour without electricity can cost lives.

This project aims to supply Ukraine with critical energy resources, particularly generators and power stations, to help people maintain a dignified life in times of war and, most importantly, to save lives.
