OdesaFest Berlin: voices that connect, stories that last
OdesaFest in Berlin was more than just a concert or art event — it became a meeting point of cultures, voices, and human stories.
yoUAre LifeSaver e.V., together with Bezirksamt Lichtenberg and festival initiator Angelika Soldatenko, helped create a space where today’s Odesa spoke to Berlin, and art turned into a language of support and understanding.
Guests enjoyed performances by artists, a vibrant art show, and an atmosphere filled not only with beauty but also with meaning: culture can connect people even in difficult times.
The festival was held under the patronage of Lichtenberg’s mayor, Martin Schaefer, who reminded everyone of the square renamed Odesaplatz and expressed his support for Ukraine and its people Berlin parliament member Lilia Usik welcomed the audience and supported the festival throughout the preparations.
We presented our project demonstrating how tourniquets can save lives and collected donations to provide them. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed — your support gives people and their families a real chance at life.
We also warmly thank our partners, organizers, and guests for their trust and invaluable support.
