On August 24, yoUAre LifeSaver e.V. took part in the March for Ukraine’s Independence Day in Berlin.

This year’s theme – «Future Needs Memory» – reminds us that without remembering past crimes, we cannot build a free future. For us, it’s also about finding balance between past and present: remembering those who have fallen, while fighting to save the lives of those who need our help today.

The march united over 20 organizations and more than 5,000 people who took to the streets for freedom, justice, and memory. Feeling this unity was incredibly powerful and gave strength to carry on.

We are grateful to the organizers Vitsche e.V., and to everyone whose voices rang out clearly and openly, reminding the world of what truly matters.

Together we remember. Together we are stronger. Together we build the future.
