Our Mission
yoUAre LifeSaver e.V. is a recognized non-profit organization that brings together people, partners, and resources to save lives, support people affected by war, and develop and implement international humanitarian, social, and cultural projects.
Our work focuses on humanitarian aid, medical support, and rehabilitation, as well as on improving people’s quality of life in the long term. We work closely with medical facilities, emergency services, social institutions, and civilians, responding to concrete needs on the ground.
We implement our own needs-based support measures — from providing critically needed equipment and materials to supporting individuals and institutions in exceptional situations. All projects are based on direct requests and are carried out in close cooperation with reliable partners in Ukraine.
A key part of our work is humanitarian logistics, operational implementation, and the international coordination of projects between Ukraine and Germany (UA–DE). We focus on medical, rehabilitation, and socially relevant initiatives with a tangible impact in crisis and war situations.
To mobilize support, build partnerships, and strengthen social solidarity, we also initiate and participate in cultural and community events in Germany. These formats — festivals, events, and joint initiatives — bring people together, raise awareness, and help ensure the sustainability of humanitarian and medical projects.
About us
yoUAre LifeSaver e.V. is an independent humanitarian organization founded by volunteers who have been actively helping people in Ukraine since the war began.
Our first Head of the organization, Nataliia Vernyhora, organized a medication collection point in Kulmbach, Bavaria, during the early weeks of the war. This effort soon expanded to provide more extensive humanitarian aid. The initiative supported medical workers, rescuers, refugees, and the military. With the active involvement of the local community, activists, and the media, Nataliia led numerous successful charity campaigns and events.

Our second Head of the organization, Jens Lange, worked with Berlin-based volunteers to help evacuate people, first from the Poland-Ukraine border and later from active war zones in eastern Ukraine. He also coordinated aid deliveries for civilians and supported refugees arriving in Berlin by providing them with basic necessities and connecting them with housing and host families.

Bringing together these experiences, networks, and shared values, yoUAre LifeSaver e.V. was founded to deliver long-term, structured, and effective support. Today, we combine humanitarian assistance with medical, rehabilitation, social, and cultural projects, working as a bridge between Ukraine and Germany.
Our work continues to evolve — from emergency response to sustainable initiatives, international cooperation, and community engagement. At the core of everything we do are people and the protection of life.
