| On February 24, it will be four years since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. Ukrainian cities are still being bombed. People are killed. Families lose their homes. Many live with air raid sirens, with fear, and with the uncertainty of what the next day will bring. Energy infrastructure is deliberately targeted. Cities go dark. Homes grow cold. This is not accidental. This is happening in the middle of Europe. Four years later, it is still going on. That is why we will be in the streets on February 24. Not because a demonstration will end the war overnight. But because deliberate attacks on civilians and infrastructure must not become normal. Because a country cannot be forced into submission through darkness and destruction. As an organization committed to protecting life, this is not an abstract issue for us. We see what this war means for real people.
