Christmas Gift for Grandma and Grandpa
At the request of the Military Administration of the city of Toretsk in the Bakhmut district, Ukraine, we have launched this year’s project, “Christmas Gift for Grandma and Grandpa”. This initiative focuses on supporting elderly individuals who are alone, in need, or physically impaired and currently housed in an emergency evacuation station at the “Bereh Nadii” (“Shore of Hope”) Resilience Center in the Zhytomyr region.
This center is home to over 200 elderly people, including palliative care patients and those with severe physical disabilities who rely on wheelchairs, walkers, or are bedridden.
Through this project, we aim to bring joy, warmth, and essential items to those who have lost everything — their homes, friends, and families.
How can you help?
You can take part in this campaign in a variety of ways: Make a financial donation or prepare a gift package. Pack everything in a shoebox, label it “For Grandma” or “For Grandpa” and send us a message at info@youarelifesaver.org. We will let you know where you can send or drop off the gifts in Kulmbach or Berlin.
Please note that the final acceptance date is December 15, 2024!
Bring a little joy and hope to lonely seniors during this challenging time. Every contribution matters!
